Onelife is a UK-based Christian organisation dedicated to raising up young leaders to impact every sphere of society. Founded in the early 2000s by Pete and Sarah Wynter at St Andrew’s Church in Chorleywood, the organisation began with a vision to equip young people with the character and skills needed to lead for Jesus. Over the past two decades, Onelife has grown into a national movement, offering a range of programmes, resources and events designed to develop leadership in young people.

  • Early 2000s: Onelife is founded by Pete and Sarah Wynter at St Andrew’s Chorleywood.
  • 2010s: The Onelife Conference becomes an annual event, gathering young people from across the UK for worship, teaching, and leadership development. The conference continues to be a cornerstone event.
  • 2014: The first School of Leadership runs, offering a five-day residential programme for 17–25-year-olds focused on character development and practical leadership skills.
  • 2018: Onelife launches the Leadership Sessions, a series of training resources aimed at equipping youth workers and young people with leadership tools. In 2021 they are made available online.
  • 2021: Onelife launches the Professional Development Certificate in Leadership — training ministry workers to engage young people in leadership.
  • 2023: The first Youth Worker Gathering is held at St Paul’s Hammersmith, providing a space for youth workers to connect, worship, and receive practical training.

Today, Onelife remains committed to working in partnership with churches and organisations across the UK and beyond. As a member of the Evangelical Alliance, Onelife collaborates with institutions such as St Mellitus College, South West Youth Ministries (SWYM), various Church of England dioceses, and international partners like MV in Germany. Through these partnerships and a host of individual churches and organisations, Onelife continues to inspire and equip a generation of young leaders to serve with character and influence.
