But on the last night during the last talk I encountered Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I could feel my heart beating in my chest and felt like I had to get up, leave the room and go to the prayer room, so I went. I remember kneeling down, I remember God asking me to do some really specific things, like taking off my watch and my necklace\u2014I did it and I just fully focused on him and truly surrendered to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where I encountered Jesus. That\u2019s where I learned that I can still have intimacy with God even in a broken place, even when I\u2019m feeling like a bit of a mess or not feeling worthy enough.
