One frustration the majority of them have raised is the feeling of being ignored and unappreciated- they feel their voice is not heard because t<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">hey are not in senior<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0positions<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Even worse it has impact on their trust of the organisation.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">It\u2019s s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">o refreshing\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to be part of a company that seeks to address this common feeling amongst<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0so<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0many\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">employees, and is proactively<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">promoting transparency\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and engagement<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In my\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">opinion<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and as a millennial myself, the demand for innovation, transparency, and immediate action will only\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">increase<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Inpulse, our<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0dynamic, real-time app which takes the pulse of an organisation at an event or in the workplace<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, provides an effective\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">approach to<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">improving\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">employee engagement and performance.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Throughout university the general\u202fpresumption of the post graduate dream was to work for a large organisation. Benchmarking has also been utilised during change, when an organisation or department have been in a transitional period. For example,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">one of our clients is surveying each department quarterly, assigning 3 or 4 departments to undertake a survey each month.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0This approach has allowed the whole of the organisation to be surveyed, yet on a micro-scale; allowing\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the manager<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0to tailor their response to their specific department.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559685&quot;:720,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>Events;<\/strong><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Events are a fantastic opportunity to measure engagement. At a previous event\u00a0Inpulse\u00a0illustrated the journey of the attendants; at the beginning of the Leadership event a large proportion of attendants were \u201ccurious\u201d and \u201capprehensive\u201d, yet as the event progressed the dominant emotions became \u201cinspired\u201d and \u201cproud\u201d.
